The Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are located between Neriamangalam and Adimali around 10 km on the Kochi - Madurai Highway. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps. This is also a great place for trekking. Valara has a chain of waterfalls surrounded by thick green forests. Waterfalls can also be accessible from Munnar, around 42 km on Aluva-Munnar Rd.
Munnar, breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquillity. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days.
Tea Museum: Munnar has a legacy of its own when it comes to the origins and evolution of tea plantations. Taking account of this legacy and to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala high ranges, a museum for tea exclusively opened some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar. The Tea Museum houses curios, photographs and machineries; all of which have a story to tell on the Origins and growth of tea plantations in Munnar. The Museum is located at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar and is worth visit.

Unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, the aroma of spice scented cool air - Munnar has all these and more. The Eravikulam National Park, encompassing 100 square km of moist evergreen forests and grassy hilltops in the Western Ghats, lies 13 km northeast of Munnar. Mattupetty Dam: Another place of interest, located about 13km from Munnar town, is Mattupetty. Situated at a height of 1700m above sea level. Mattupetty is known for its storage masonry dam and the beautiful lake, which offers pleasurable boat rides, enabling one to enjoy the surrounding hills and landscape. Mattupetty’ s fame is also attributed to the dairy farm run by the Indo – swiss livestock Project, Where one would come across different highly yielding breeds of cows.

Transfer to Alleppy (180km, 5hrs drive )
Check in the House boat before 12:30 PM.
Alleppey known as the "Venice of the East", situated on the Vembanad Lake. A maze of canals and a network of bridges give this busy commercial town its descriptive sobriquet. Alleppey is known for its coir, the retted fibre of the coconut husk and for black pepper. Coir yarn, mats and matting and a wealth of other coir products are manufactured here and are good buys.
Board the kettuvalam (traditional houseboat), a special delight that Kerala offers. Take a leisurely cruise on the beautiful backwaters, through forests, and palm-shaded canals, enjoying the magnificent scenery along the waterways and stopping to admire what history and religion have left along the way. Your boat crew will prepare a delicious lunch and dinner for you on the houseboat.

After breakfast checkout from the house boat and transfer to Varkala(120km, 4hrs 3 ½ drive)

Varkala is the only place in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. These tertiary sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique geological feature on the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and is known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geological monument as declared by the Geological Survey of India.
